You’ve been on a lot of adventures with me already. You’ve run with assassins, warlocks, dragons, and even some pretty darn sexy vampires.
Some of you have even said that you’re not really into paranormal. That maybe vampires or dragons aren’t your thing.
But you’ve joined me on those adventures and had a marvelous time.
I want you to step outside your comfort zone once again. I want you to go on this adventure with me, because I promise, it’s going to be EPIC.
I think I’ve have the Godstone Saga bubbling in the back of my mind for a few years now, but I could never find the time to put pen to paper in between all my other books. Or I was worried that I wasn’t a skilled enough author. Or I worried that my readers didn’t want this kind of book from me.
It was on a whim that I sat down one day and just started writing.
Prince Caelan, his best friend Drayce, advisor Rayne, and bodyguard Eno JUMPED from the page. They had a grand story that had to be told. They had pain to share, secrets they were protecting, and a love so deep you could drown in it.
And yeah, that helped me realize that readers needed to meet them.
The story starts simply enough: A young, untried prince has to save his kingdom, but things go horribly sideways from there. Luckily, he’s got three close, trusted friends he can depend on to weave through all the scheming, betrayal, lies, and danger.
Caelan, Drayce, Eno, and Rayne are their own “found family”. They live in a dangerous world that’s trying to tear them down, but it always comes back to that core through it all.
But is this a romance?
It’s a romantic fantasy. A fantasy with STRONG romantic elements.
There are actually two couples that you will be following through the series as they try to find their way together while fighting to stay alive.
But is this your typical sword & sorcery?
Eh. I think of it as a modern fantasy. There are cars and smartphones. At the same time, there is also magic, gods, and swords.
