Once Upon A Time…
Let’s jump right into the action with a brand-new series and a great big cover reveal!
Funny enough, this book wasn’t a part of my original plan for the start of 2026.
I just thought it would take me much longer to write it and this book would be released later in 2026. But some books demand to be written RIGHT NOW.
I am kicking off 2026 with the Secret Fairy Tales series, and the first book will be A HEART OF GOLD AND GLASS. This is a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin with my own twist on it.
This series is going to be low-angst, cozy, sweet, funny, and fun. It is set in a world where magic is very common and most people have a little magic.
The book centers on Hugo Baker, the eldest of three brothers, and Prince Everand.
Here’s a quick description:
It all started with a lie…
Hugo needs to get married.
His family’s prospects have been dwindling since the death of his father, and he has to make a good match to save his mother and two younger brothers.
He just doesn’t expect his mother to sink all his hopes with a single lie.
My son can spin straw into gold!
Now, the queen might execute him over such nonsense.
However, Prince Everand has better, sweeter plans for him.
Can Hugo really win the heart of a prince? Not to mention survive kidnappings, dungeons, wolves, and the plotting of a possibly mad king out for revenge?
Hugo will need more than magic to protect his prince and keep his head.
But nothing can make him give up his chance at happily ever after.
A Heart of Gold and Glass is a retelling of the Rumpelstiltskin fairy tale with a few magical twists and turns that will leave you swooning over Hugo and his precious prince Everand.
A Heart of Gold and Glass will be out March 20 in my shop and March 27 on Amazon.
I am planning on this being a three-book series, where we watch Hugo and his two brothers find love while also helping to save the day. They will also be loosely based on fairy tales. I know who gets the second book and what the fairy tale is going to be, but I’m not giving that information away just yet.
Unfortunately, because of my writing plans for the year, I won’t be able to start the second book in the series until this summer, resulting in a fall release. However, I will write books 2 and 3 back to back, so there won’t be a large gap between those books.
Also, A Heart of Gold and Glass won’t have a cliffhanger. It’s a complete story with a happily ever after.
Forgotten Gods Series

FINALLY…
I always intended to head back to Erya–the realm of dragons and mads gods. It just took way longer than I’d intended. Blame it on too many ideas for books leading me down wandering paths.
But we are back!
The Forgotten Gods Saga is the spin-off series for the Godstone Saga, which was first released 2021/2022.
Yeah, I think we’re all going to need a refresher.
The Godstone Saga was a modern adventure fantasy series that followed Prince Caelan and his three closest friends as they went on an epic quest to save the world from insane gods. The series is complete with six novels and it follows two separate love stories. It is NOT MMMM. It is MM and MM.
However, when I reached the end of the series, I realized that I had three characters that I wanted to see get a happily ever after. Adrian, Haru, and Prince Shey. That meant we needed more books.
Forgotten Gods Saga is going to be a trilogy that follows the adventures of Adrian, Haru, and Prince Shey. This will also be MM and MM romances (Not MMM). You just haven’t been introduced to our fourth lover yet.
Forgotten Gods ventures off to new kingdoms and faces brand-new problems. However, I am going to try to have a few cameo appearances.
Do you need to have read the Godstone Saga to understand Forgotten Gods?
Yes and No.
To understand the gist of what’s happening in Forgotten Gods, no you don’t need to read Godstone.
However….
By skipping, you are missing where Adrian and Haru met. That’s Wings of Fire (book 4 of Godstone). And you really need to get all the Haru you can get.
You will also miss the first introduction of Prince Shey and why he’s “broken”. That’s Steal the Wind (book 1 of Godstone).
Also, reading Forgotten Gods first means you are going to encounter HUGE spoilers for the events of Godstone Saga.
But the good thing is that Godstone is complete and available in audiobook. You have plenty of time to binge all six books before the release of Broken Prince of Ice.
Broken Prince of Ice (Book 1 of Forgotten Gods) will be out in April or May 2026. I am writing all three books back to back so there shouldn’t be any big gaps between the release of the books.
Next month, I expect to have the official cover reveal for Broken Prince of Ice, blurb, and pre-order link. In the meantime, get started on reading Godstone Saga!
Time to get E.V.I.L.

You might remember that last year, AJ Sherwood and I announced a new fantasy series called E.V.I.L.
Well, those books had to be put on hold because we both had to get our ducks in a row for some other projects. Well, I’m happy to report that we’re back at it this year.
Wanted: Rogues And Bards (book 1) has a completed rough draft. We are scheduled to begin some heavy revisions in February.
Then, in about May, we will plot and write the second book in the series.
The goal is to actually release the first TWO books in the series this year.
The series centers on a group of “villains” who are trying to become known throughout the kingdoms as the best villains. And to do that, they just might end up saving the world.
This fantasy, adventure, LitRPG series will have our usual chaotic shenanigans, cuddles, and humor.
We don’t have a release date yet, but I would imagine that we’ll aim for our usual fall release schedule. Look for more official news later this summer.
In the meantime, the rough draft of the book is available on my Patreon and Ream.
Quick Recap
That’s a lot coming. Let’s do a quick reccap:
March – A Heart of Gold and Glass (Secret Fairy Tales 1)
April/May – Broken Prince of Ice (Forgotten Gods 1)
May/June – Forgotten Gods 2
June/July – Forgotten Gods 3
August/September – Wanted: Rogues & Bards (EVIL 1)
September/October – EVIL 2 + Secret Fairy Tales 2
October/November – Secret Fairy Tales 3
December/January – New romantic suspense series
Yeah, I sneaked that last one in.
I know that’s a lot of fantasy/magic/paranormal all in one year and I usually rotate between magic and non-magic series. So, since 2026 is a magic year, I want to make 2027 a non-magic year. (My collab book with AJ would be the one exception.)
I am looking to write a new romantic suspense series that takes the sexiness of Lucas and Snow from Unbreakable Bonds, the ruthlessness of Gabriel and Justin from Exit Strategy, and the stoic grumpiness of Declan from Executive Suite Secrets and then mix in explosions, danger, action, angst, and romance.
As an aside, I am still working on my revisions of the Dark Days series. It’s a slow process when it comes to tweaking books I first started writing 20 years ago. I’d like to start re-releasing Dark Days in 2026.
Finally, don’t forget to check out my shop for signed paperbacks, merch, and even some ebooks. I also have Patreon and Ream where you can get bonus stories, early cover reveals, and more. Right now Patreon has the complete A Heart of Gold and Glass and Wanted: Rogues and Bards. I will also start posting new chapters of Broken Prince of Ice next week.
Happy reading!
Jocelynn
