Did You Miss Any Books in 2025?

We survived. I’ll admit, there were a few moments where I had my doubts. I definitely didn’t expect gay hockey romance to save us all in the end, but I’m so glad it did.

For this newsletter, I thought I would pop in with a recap of everything that was released last year. That way, you can check to make sure you caught it all.

Of course, before we jump down this rabbit hole of sexy fun, I have to thank all of you. I wouldn’t be able to get up every day and let my imagination run wild if it weren’t for all my amazing, supportive readers. You follow me through magic and mayhem, vampires and billionaires and even billionaire vampires. We’ve had closeted Chinese actors falling in love and a neurotic author falling into his book. Demons, elves, mercenaries, princes, and shifters. I am living my best life and it’s because of you. My only hope is that I can entertain, distract, and lightening your load for a little while.

Before we all start crying, let’s get to the books…

Ancient Vampires

We actually started 2025 with the release of the final book of the Kings of Chaos series. Two Thousand Promises is shorter than the other books in the series, but it does include the one-thousand-year romance of Xiao Dan and Huli. You see how they met, how Huli saved Xiao Dan’s life, and how they slowly fell in love.

If you prefer to binge read a series, the series is now complete with five novels, starting with Two Thousand Dreams, and includes free bonus short stories for each couple. Also! The audiobooks are now available for all five novels. Kevin Shen does an amazing job with the Chinese vamps!

Finally, if you are new to my gay vampire world, the Kings of Chaos are also linked to the Lords of Discord and the Princes of Mayhem. You can see a complete reading order here.

Sweet Billionaires

2025 proved there were plenty of evil billionaires out there, so I decided to change the vibe and add some sweet, cinnamon roll, grumpy, golden retriever billionaires to the world.

I always love when I can complete an entire series in a single year and the Executive Suite Secrets boys were so much fun!

We got a little taste of the insanity with The Interview, a prequel novella to the series. It introduced you to Sebastian and his very patient assistant Byron.

I loved each and every one of these couples. They all had their crazy quirks, problems, fears, and heartbreaks. They made me laugh and swoon. The found family aspect is always one of my favorites. They are all right there, so ready to jump in and help each other when things are going wrong.

The series is complete with 1 novella, 4 novels, and 4 free bonus short stories.

The audiobook for The Bargain is out and contains The Interview and the bonus short story, “After Hours”. It has been whispersynced.

The audiobook for The Complication is out and has the bonus short story, “Not Ready”. As of the writing of this blog, it hasn’t whispersynced yet. However, Podium has pulled out their poking stick and is poking the great Amazon/Audible beast to get its butt moving. So, the synch should happen soon.

Barring any unexpected delays, we are hoping to have the audiobook for The Arrangement out in late April. As soon as I get a pre-order link, I will share it.

And don’t forget that we finally resolved all the questions about Pierce and Simon in The Temptation.

The Surprise Hit

I was not expecting readers to love a quirky little book about a house full of demons determined to help a poor grad student with his love life.

But Demon Dating Service became something of a surprise hit among my releases this year.

The book actually took me about a year to write as I slowly released chapters for free over on Patreon and Ream. Yet, I am so glad that I took this strange detour. It was a fun, weird book to write.

It is a standalone. The audiobook has been recorded by the lovely Darcy Stark, who also did the audio for I Destroyed the Elf Prince’s Harem, and it is currently slated for release in early March. We should have a pre-order link in early February.

If you’re looking for something different- such as a low angst, two sweet idiots falling in love, and the demons who help them along the way, check out Demon Dating Service.

Holiday Mayhem

I finished 2025 with another quirky story, The Necromancer’s Christmas Tree of Terror. This holiday novella features Sky and Nolan from the How the Necromancer in the Gold Vest Saved My Life books.

The story is about a “Christmas tree” that knocks on their door, moves in, and refuses to leave. As you would expect, chaos and shenanigans ensue for the holidays.

This is another story that started over on Patreon and Ream as a bit of fun that I wanted to share with all my readers. I started writing it based on a meme that I’d saved years ago, and have so much fun playing with the story.

A Look Ahead…Coming Soon

2025 was an interesting adventure with books, but we are headed in bold new directions for 2026. Stay tuned! In the next newsletter–coming January 23–I will be sharing details on the 3 series that I will be working on this year. There will be a cover reveal and a new pre-order you don’t want to miss. New adventures. New romances. All the laughs and the swoons.

Happy reading,

Jocelynn
